Perceives strike action by driving instructors here may have prompted the driving examiner at the Transport Board at the Ministry of Infrastructure to cancel sessions which were scheduled for today.

According to the Public Relations Officer for the Association of Driving Schools Kingson Jean, the actions of the examiner has affected the students were expected to take the practical driving test today.

He notes that the move has only served to increase the backlog of driving students who are unable to be processed because of the shortage of driving examiners here.

Mr Jean has called on the Ministry of Infrastructure to address the situation quickly.
