The back and forth in the battle of wills between two educators continues as one student remains ejected from classes at the St Mary’s college.

According to the student’s mother Bibianna William her son has been disallowed to participate in all school activities because he has long hair. But the Principal of the school insists that students are not allowed to wear their hair long.

Mr Rohan Seon notes that the parent was well aware of what the school regulations are and agreed to them before he son was enrolled. He notes that the student has informed that he is willing to cover his hair but he is afraid of his mother’s reaction.

Seon says in this case, the school is now faced with a parent who is misbehaving and not the student. The school has offered a compromise. Instead of insisting that the student cuts his hair, the school has asked that it be covered before he can return to class.
