The family of the Winner of the 2014 Drug Free Pageant is incensed over the prize given to the reigning queen.

The winners of the pageant which was held here in August last year received their prizes during a luncheon held on Saturday.

But the grandmother of the winning female contestant she is yet to receive an academic scholarship which had been announced as part of the prize package.

Instead Ms Marguareth Octave says her granddaughter who was a student of the Castries Comprehensive Secondary School at the time received what they describe as a very revealing $35 dollar dress and a silver necklace.

Ms Octave says she is committed to pressing the matter further on behalf of her grand-daughter.
