Super League Quarter Final

The St. Lucia Football Association (SLFA) announces the quarter final stage of its Super League Competition.

This weekend Soufriere Mini Stadium comes alive with double headers on Saturday November 8th and on Sunday November 9th.

OECS Invitational Boxing Championships Called Off

The ST. Lucia Boxing Association has announced that it has had to call off the OECS Invitational Boxing Championships which was scheduled to be held here from December 10th to the 14th.

ST. Lucia Boxing Association President David “shakes” Christopher has indicated that a  national championships featuring all of St. Lucia’s top boxers will instead be held.

Dominica, Grenada Joint Champions
Dominica and Grenada were crowned joint champions following the final round of matches yesterday which ended in draws.
 
At the Mindoo Phillip Park, West Indies fast bowler Nelon Pascal (4/43) mopped up St Vincent’s tail early in the morning to make sure of at least a share of the title. West Indies batsman Devon Smith then batted solidly to make 68 and killed off any come from behind chance by St Vincent.

Ministry of Youth Development & Sports Football Results
In LUCELEC Under 15 School Football:

At the Gros Islet Playing Field Babonneau register a 2 – 0 victory over SDA Academy to earn their first victory of this campaign.

At the Corinth Playing field the battle was on for first and second place in the group. Corinth Secondary defeated Gros Islet 2 – 1 to capture first place and relegate Gros Islet Secondary second in Group A.

At the SAB Sporting Facility Ciceron Secondary registered a convincing 8 – 1 victory over Leon Hess Comprehensive.

Shamfest 2k14 Semi-Finals
The heavens opened and the rains came at the  Vigie Multi purpose Sports Complex last night, at the SHAMFEST 2K14 semi-final stage.
 
On a very water logged court in game 1, Shamrock1 defeated Shamrock2  59 -6.
Jacqueline Remy- goal shoot for Shamrock1 netted 31 goals and national player Germaine Altifois-Fernelon shot 28.
