Chairman’s Spiced “Ball in Hand Pools Tournament”
Chairman’s Reserve Spiced is excited to jump start the 2015 Ball in hand Pools Tournament. 16 bars Island wide will come alive as the best pool players will converge and battle it out, to be one of the final 16 qualifiers who will be crowned the Chairman’s Reserve Spiced pools champion.

South Castries Cause Major Upset in 2015 Blackheart/SLFA Knockout Football Tour

It was a night of upsets last night as both Vieux Fort teams lost as the 2015 Blackheart /SLFA Knockout Football tournament continued with a double header at the Phillip Marcellin Grounds in Vieux Fort.

In the opening encounter Roseau Valley had a one goal to nil win over Vieux Fort North with the winning goal coming from Shervon Boisville in the 76th minute.

Mon Repos Domino Masters Club - Mokai 3 Hand Team Domino Competition
The Mokia 3 Hand Team Domino Competition, which was made possible through brand manager Derek Louis Fernand, has also brought Smirnoff and PINEHILL juices on board, continued on Tuesday evening. In Group A, Rosemadin's Place made it an interesting game up until the fifth set, where they were able to be in a commanding position and take the game home, and in so doing, top the points standing. M & N's Restaurant & Bar who were in second place up until the fifth set, had a very poor showing in the final set and allowed Mesic's Bar to snatch the second place in that match. LIME Helps Bring NORCECA Volleyball to St. Lucia

The Saint Lucia Volleyball Association and LIME are partnering yet again to bring The North America, Central and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation (NORCECA) Beach Volleyball tournament to St. Lucia. 

The nation’s leading telecommunications provider is sponsoring the St Lucia Stage of the NORCECA Circuit scheduled for October 14 - 19, 2015 at the Pigeon Island National Landmark.

100 for Kimani

A century for West Indies Under - 16 batsman Kimani Melius, fresh from touring the UK, propels Rising Stars to an easy 8 wicket victory over a Soufriere Representative Under 17 team on Friday, September 4 at the Monchy Playing Field.

The Soufriere lads batting first, was dismissed for 203 in 26.5 overs (35), with Xystus Emmanuel top scoring with 51 and Dillon Monrose not out. For Rising Stars, captain Rahym Joseph bagged 4 wickets and 2 each went to Lee Solomon, Garvin Serieux and Rumario Simmons.

Saint Lucia Unable to Host Commonwealth Youth Games in 2017
Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Economic Affairs, Planning & Social Security, Hon. Dr. Kenny D. Anthony has officially announced that Saint Lucia will not be hosting the Commonwealth Youth Games in 2017.

The announcement was made via a recorded video message to the General Assembly of the Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF). The CGF met in Auckland, New Zealand, on Wednesday, September 2, 2015.

Durban to Host 2022 Commonwealth Games

Durban was selected as the host for the 2022 Commonwealth Games at the federation’s general assembly in New Zealand on Wednesday.

The coastal city was the only bidder for the multisports event after the Canadian city of Edmonton withdrew from contention in February, citing falling oil prices.

Louise Martin Elected Commonwealth Games Federation's Pesident

AUCKLAND (Reuters) - British sports administrator Louise Martin was elected as the Commonwealth Games Federation's first female President on Wednesday after promising to boost the commercial returns and attract top-class athletes back to the Commonwealth Games.

Martin beat the incumbent Prince Tunku Imran of Malaysia at the Commonwealth Games Federation general assembly in Auckland on Wednesday to head an organisation that has faced pressure to remain relevant in a crowded sporting market.
