The Ministry of Youth Development and Sports Massy United Insurance Under 19 Schools Cricket Tournament continued on Monday with victories for Corinth Secondary over Ciceron Secondary and St Mary's College over Marigot Secondary.

At the Monchy Playing Field, Corinth Secondary registered a comfortable 62 run victory over Ciceron Secondary.  Corinth Secondary taking first knock was dismissed for 138 in 22.3 overs, with Lerry Auguste top scoring with 54, Lee Solomon making 14 and Sheldon Busby 11.  Bowling for Marigot Secondary, Kiwayne John 3 for 14 in 3 overs, Giovanni Clement 2 for 14 in 4 overs and Veron Preville 2 for 55 in 6 overs.
In reply, Ciceron Secondary was bowled out for 76 in 13.3 overs with Jonathan Samuel making 34.  For Corinth Secondary, the wickets were shared among spinners, Raphael Largan 5 for 14 in 4 overs and Lerry Auguste 5 for 29 in 6.3 overs.

At the Gros Islet Playing Field, St Mary's College completed a 228 run victory over Marigot Secondary. St Mary's College taking first strike, amassed 310 for 7 in their allotted 40 overs, with the major scorers being Quaine Henry with 54 not out, Keeghan Patrick 52, Benroy Papin 51, Kevin Arnold 40 and Jonathan Khodra 32.  Bowling for Marigot Secondary, Davidson Mathurin 2 for 47 in 8 overs and Brandon Modeste 2 for 56 in 8 overs.

In reply, Marigot Secondary was bowled out for 82 in 21.3 overs with Randal Joseph 14 and Joshua Leopold  13, the only batsmen to reach double figures.  Simeon Gerson was St Mary's most outstanding bowler picking up 5 for 19 in 5.3 overs. Kester Charlemagne lent good support finishing with 2 for 8 in 5 overs.

The tournament continues on Tuesday March 3 with Bocage Secondary coming up against Vide Bouteille Secondary at the Gros Islet Playing Field, St Mary's College plays Sir Ira Simmons at the Monchy Playing Field,  Choiseul Secondary clashes with Vieux Fort Comprehensive La Ressource at the Piaye Playing Field and at the Dennery Playing Field, it will be Anse Ger Secondary and Grande Riviere locked in battle.
