The defending  champions Genuine Parts World Tigers white washed the C.Enterprise Hawks 5 games to 0 to open their season with a big victory . Faith Stanislaus from the Genuine Parts World Tigers defeated Wayne Benn of C. Enterprises Hawks in straight sets 3-0.   C. Enterprise Hawks Clint Alcindor then succumbed to the hard hitting Franklin Noel of the Genuine Parts World Tigers 3 sets to 0. The doubles event was won 3 sets to 0 by the Genuine Parts World Tigers. Franklin then ran through Wayne to win 3 sets to 0. The last match saw Faith winning in similar fashion over Clint.

Rex Resorts Eagles defeated Total Auto Dragons 3 games to 2 in a close encounter. Rex Resorts Eagles Chris Wells crushed Derek Destang of the Total Auto Dragons 3-0 in the opening match.  Bertlan Shepherd from Total Auto Dragon answered when he narrowly won over Celestin Samuel of Rex Resorts Eagles 3-2.  Team Total Auto Dragons then totally dominated the doubles event when they overwhelmed the Rex Resorts Eagles 3-1.  Chris Wells then fought his way to equalize the match by narrowly defeating  Bertlan Shepherd 3 sets to 2 in what was considered the big match of the evening. Rex Resorts Eagles Celestin Samuel then executed the game plan perfectly to win Derek Destang in straight sets 3-0. Rex Resorts Eagles Chris Wells was the outstanding player of the match.

Veteran Jaguars led by Teddy Matthews conquered C.T.S.L. Combined Schools 4 games to 1. Samarian Mario St.Cyr from the Combined Schools fell to Mr. Matthews of the Veteran Jaguars  in straight sets   3-0. Vandyke Jude from the Veteran Jaguars clipped Sunil Chitole 3 sets to 1. The doubles event saw CTSL Combined Schools falling to the Jaguars 3 sets to 1.  Teddy Matthews then schooled Sunil Chitole 3 games to 0. The last match saw CTSL Combined Schools Mario St. Cyr playing with great form and fight as his forehand  topspin loops was too much for the defensive play of Veteran Jaguar Vandyke winning 3 sets to 1. Veteran Jaguars  Teddy Matthews was the outstanding player of the match.
