West Indies Under 19 Team Kocked Out in Tournament

Supporters of the West Indies Under 19 team had their hopes of victory dashed as the youngsters were knocked out of the tournament.

Sports administrator, Joseph Reds Pereira, who has been following the team, shares his thoughts on its world cup performance.

Pereira believes that the crop of players selected for the Under 19 team did not measure up to their predecessors. But he says while it is a disappointment, there is time to grow and make improvements.

Police News

Police sources have disclosed that while the matter is currently being investigated by officials attached to the Vulnerable Persons Unit, the probe has been stalled.

It appears that the female student who has been uncooperative with investigators is receiving psychological assistance from counselors at the Department of Human Services.

Walcott House Reopens for Nobel Laureate Festival

The Walcott House has reopened as part of activities to celebrate this year’s observance of Nobel Laureate Festival.

As part of the program, a special feature of never before seen sketches and drawings by Sir Derek from the “Sancha Gaspard Walcott Collection” will be on display. These works have sat untouched for more than a decade and provide more insights into his dexterity in the medium of watercolor.
