What you just heard is the sound of a robot built by three science intellects who are only seventeen years old.

The three science students make up Team St. Lucia and will represent the island at the First Global Robotics Challenge to be held in Washington DC from July 16th to 18th.

The Science Geniuses are keegan Patrick, Reshul Nahari the team’s spokesperson and team leader Sherguan Roserie. The Trio was responsible for building a robot that will compete in an Olympic style competition against teams from over one hundred and fifty countries.

The Department of Education and Innovation held a Press conference on July 6th to introduce Team 758 to the public. This was where team spokesperson Reshul Nahari gave more insight into the competition.

The Minister for Education and Innovation Dr. Gale Rigobert expressed the sentiments of her Ministry on the invention to the students and their parents.

Dr. Gale Rigobert also pointed out that the department of Education and Innovation has plans to integrate robotics into the school’s curriculum. The team’s spokesperson shared the overall excitement of her team.

The First Global Organization is financing the travel cost of team 758. The team leaves Saint Lucia on July 14th.
