Saint Lucians have been assured that the prices of petroleum products will be further reduced when the next adjustments are made.

The pronouncement came from Prime Minister Dr Kenny Anthony who indicated that the only outstanding question is the timing of the adjustments.

Local Health Officials Graded After Ebola Readiness Simulation Exercise
Health officials here have received a passing grade following a review of a simulation drill conducted here on Monday to test the island’s readiness to respond to an Ebola case.

The exercise which began at the Gros Islet Poly clinic and ended at the Victoria Hospital revealed that medical personnel activated the proper response and containment mechanisms in dealing with the virus.

Seniors Cricket Festival Final Match Report
The tenth International Seniors Cricket Festival which bowled off here on March 24th, ended yesterday at the Beausejour Cricket Ground where the best of the English and Canada players came up against the best of the Trinidad and Saint Lucia players.

Batting first, the combined English & Canada Team totalled 170 for 6 from their 35 overs following an opening stand of 65 between Timothy Moult (42) and Farook Kermani (29), and then a fifth-wicket stand of 53 between Martin Downes (24) and Richard Moore (40 not out).
