Man Wanted By Police Captured
The wanted man who is the key suspect at the centre of a murder investigation has been captured by police.

Police report that on Sunday, October 19, 2014 about 10:00 p.m., a joint operation involving the Marine Unit, Special Services Unit, Criminal Investigations Department and the Intelligence Unit was conducted, towards the arrest and capture of 29-year-old Clint Mathurin of Arundell Hill.

Barbados Recommends that Residents Defer from Traveling to parts of West Africa
Barbados is not among Caribbean countries which have taken a decision to ban travellers from parts of West Africa in an effort to contain the spread of the Ebola Virus.

Instead the ministry of health there has recommended that residents defer travel to the region unless absolutely essential, until the current Ebola outbreak is brought under control.

CLICO Policy Holiders to be Updated in the Aftermath of  its Collapse
CLICO Policy Holders will be updated on the developments taking place on the status of their investments after the collapse of the company this week

The announcement comes following several meetings with Government officials, as well as other developments taking place in other islands where policy holders were similarly affected by the collapse of CLICO.

Mr Terrence Scott who is a member on the Concerned Clico Policy Holders group says Wednesday’s session will brief members on a meeting which was held with the Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Kenny D. Anthony in August , and on recent discussions held with Mr. Richard Surage - the Judicial Manager appointed by the High Court to oversee CLICO's operations in St. Lucia.

42 Medal Haul for St. Lucian Swimmers
The four local clubs were Sharks Swim Club, Sea Jays Swim Club, Racers Swim Club,and Southern Flying Fish.

The S.t Lucian swimmers from all teams were in high spirits for the well organized and well attended meet with our swimmers now in preparation CARIFTA games for which St Lucia has now 10 Qualifiers.
