CID Investigates Death of Bois Patat Male
The Criminal Investigations Department is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Dallah Henry of Bois Patat, Morne Du Don, Castries.

About 2:42 a.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2014, Officers attached to the Criminal Investigations Department, received a report from medical personnel of Victoria Hospital of a stabbing. Information received suggests that a male was brought into the Accident and Emergency Unit of the hospital, with what appears to be stab wounds to the upper body.

Daring Daylight Robbery at the IGY Rodney Bay Marina Over the Weekend
The Marine Consultant in the Ministry of Tourism has reacted to a report of a daring daylight robbery at the IGY Rodney bay Marina over the weekend, noting that criminals are getting more sophisticated in their attempts to break the law.

The incident which has been described as a disturbing trend by Mr Cuthbert Didier, is believed to have occurred on Sunday about 1:33 pm at the Marina fuel dock.

Police News
Police have made arrests following a burglary report which was filed with Gros Islet Police on August 9th.

It is alleged that a quantity of electronic items, computer software and hardware, perfumes, watches and jewelry, amounting to approximately $30,000.00 were stolen from the dwelling house of Thygerson Penn Joseph.

CBA Members Reflects on Lackluster 2014 Carnival Season
Several members of the Saint Lucia Carnival Bands Association are reflecting seriously on another year of financial losses, and are deeply concerned about the viability of several member bands and their sustainable participation in future carnivals.

The disclosure comes after members have confirmed the general consensus regarding the lackluster 2014 Carnival season at the first meeting of the Association since the close of carnival on August 9th.

The Sab Sporting Facility, Vigie – October 26, 2013: Sixteen goals were scored in 3 games, including a hat trick by the tournament leading scorer Avian Girard, as the round robin phase of the 2013 ECFH~LUCELEC Youth Football League winds down.

In an abbreviated game schedule to facilitate Jounen Kweyol activities in the Under 13 division on Saturday October 26, 2013 VSADC made light work of Lancers behind contributions from Simeon Francis, Akil Gabriel, Naveed Joseph, Vionce Weekes, Eziah Modeste and Keegan Caul. Yensen August was the only contributor for Lancers.
