Twenty Two Injured at Underground Station in West London

An explosion that injured 22 people at Parsons Green underground station in west London was a terrorist incident, the Metropolitan police have said.

Commuters on a tube train reported hearing a bang and seeing a fireball flying down the carriage during Friday morning rush hour. Pictures and videos, purporting to be from one of the carriages, showed flames coming out of a carrier bag containing a white bucket.

4.7 Magnitude Earthquake Felt in Three Caribbean Islands

The Seismic Research Unit of the University of the West Indies has confirmed the occurrence of a 4.7 magnitude earthquake which has been felt in at least three Caribbean islands.

Residents of some areas in Castries reported being shaken Friday by the tremor which occurred 112 km North North East of the Capital City.

The Department of Infrastructure, Ports and Energy has completed road works at Mongiraud on Saturday, September 9th and Sunday, September 10th, 2017.

This comes following an alarming observation regarding the spillage of concrete on a number of inclines on the island’s road network. Therefore, the Department kindly reiterates to all parties involved in this unlawful act to cease from this practice, as it poses a hazard to vehicular traffic and pedestrians.

South Castries Cause Major Upset in 2015 Blackheart/SLFA Knockout Football Tour

It was a night of upsets last night as both Vieux Fort teams lost as the 2015 Blackheart /SLFA Knockout Football tournament continued with a double header at the Phillip Marcellin Grounds in Vieux Fort.

In the opening encounter Roseau Valley had a one goal to nil win over Vieux Fort North with the winning goal coming from Shervon Boisville in the 76th minute.
