Three Science Students to Represent St Lucia at Global Robotics Challenge in Washington

What you just heard is the sound of a robot built by three science intellects who are only seventeen years old.

The three science students make up Team St. Lucia and will represent the island at the First Global Robotics Challenge to be held in Washington DC from July 16th to 18th.

Annual Book Bursary Programme Commences

The Department of Education, Innovation and Gender Relations has informed the public of the commencement of the Annual Book Bursary Programme for 2017 catering to Infant and Primary School students. The book distribution will run from July 10 to August 4, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily.

This year, the distribution and collection of books will be done per District at the District Offices with the exception of Districts I and 3 which will be done at the Dame Pearlette Louisy Primary School for District I and for District 3 at the R.C. Boys’ Primary School.

Eustacius Orlando Phillip, known in the music industry as DJ Hyper D, has distanced himself from any other musical work in circulation that bears the name 'Hyper D' which he says is no way linked to his brand.
