Staff at the island’s lone power company have apparently staged a sick out, as the company registers what officials describe as an unusually high number of absentee workers this week.

Union officials at the St Lucia Civil Service Association have confirmed that they have received reports from LUCELEC’s human resource department of the development.

Officials Announce Autopsy Results of Equestrian Consultant Winston Trim

A post mortem has conducted upon the body of Winston Trim, a fifty (50) year old resident of Cas En Bas, Gros Islet, who succumbed to injuries sustained during a vehicular accident at Escap, Micoud, on Sunday, March 26, 2017, about 4:00 p.m.

The examination, conducted by Dr. Wayne Felicien, revealed that Winston Trim died as a result of neurological shock secondary to cervical spine dislocation in a motorcycle accident.
