Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a stabbing which occurred on Saturday, November 26, 2016 about 6:20 pm, on Darling Road, Castries.

According to reports, Lennox Estephane of Bexon, Castries sustained a stab wound to the groin area, allegedly perpetrated by a known individual.

Adverse Weather Conditions Affect St. Lucia
Adverse weather conditions have disrupted normal operations here just one day before the official end of the Atlantic Hurricane Season.

According to the Director of Met Services Venantius Descartes, a trough system is currently affecting St Lucia and other parts of the Lesser Antilles. It is causing periods of heavy rains which has become a cause for major concern for disaster and emergency officials.

The Rambler 88 soared into the IGY Rodney Bay Marina on Monday afternoon at record speed crossing the finish line eight days, six hours, twenty nine minutes and fifteen seconds after leaving Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain.

St. Lucia Government Conveys Condolences on Passing of Fidel Castro
Prime Minister Allen Chastanet has reacted to the news and has sent condolences to the Government and People of Cuba on behalf of the Government and People of Saint Lucia.

He has referred to the former revolutionary leader as “truly remarkable” and an “incredible figure” in world history.
